Delete your FloraTrace account
FloraTrace by Flora Carbon
You can delete your FloraTrace account at any time, from the app or by email.
In the app
- Open FloraTrace and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. If you are the only owner of a project that other people still use, the app asks you to make another member an owner of that project first, so their work is not lost.
Without the app
Email contact@floracarbon.ai from the email address you use to sign in to FloraTrace, with the subject Delete my FloraTrace account. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you. We complete email requests within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (email address and sign-in details) with our authentication provider.
- Your FloraTrace profile: your name and email address.
- Your membership of every project.
- Every project where you are the only member, with everything in it: plots, plot boundaries, GPS coordinates, trees, measurements, notes, photos and boundary files.
What is kept, and why
- Records in projects shared with other people. Plots, trees, measurements, photos and notes you added to a project that still has other members stay in that project, because they are part of the team's carbon monitoring record. Your name and account are removed from them; text you typed into a record (for example a note or a surveyor name) stays as written.
- Exports already sent. CSV exports that were emailed before you deleted your account are in the recipients' mailboxes and outside our control.
- Logs and backups. Server logs (which record your account ID and the requests made) and our database provider's backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. We do not use them to restore deleted accounts.
Timeline
Deleting in the app takes effect immediately, and your projects' stored files are removed within minutes. Requests by email are completed within 30 days.
